Il Garda in Coro

The Association “Il Garda in Coro” was officially founded in October 2000 by a group of choral lovers, with the aim of promoting, developing and supporting the practice of music and polyphonic choral singing among children and adolescents, through the creation of national and international importance activities such as national and international Competition for children's choirs, the Composition Competition for music for children's choirs, courses, conferences, and the production of publications of the materials produced and recorded.

All activities organized and implemented by the Association are directed to the cultural field and for this reason the association, since its establishment, has made use of the advice and support of two artistic directors, musicians of international reputation and deep experience in educational field - Music.

The Association “Il Garda in Coro” also organizes this year the Festival for choirs of white and youth voices, in the breathtaking location of Lake Garda and Malcesine.

On Saturday 30th of April there will be the Opening Concert at the Church of Santo Stefano in Malcesine at 8:30 p.m. with the Choir "Coro Voci Bianche Garda Trentino" from Riva del Garda (TN) and the Choir "Cori Nuova Armonia e Voci Bianche" from San Bernardino di Chiari (BS).

On Sunday 05th of June, at 8:30 p.m. at the Church of Santo Stefano there will be the concert with the Choir "Coro Voci Bianche Garda Trentino" from Riva del Garda (TN) and the Choir "Coro I Piccoli Musici" from Casazza (BG).
